FAES Collaborations and Partnership
The Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences, Inc. (FAES) is a Maryland non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. FAES welcomes partnering to promote learning, discourse, scientific innovation, and professional development. All requests for collaboration and event sponsorship are considered based on the planned activity’s purpose, impact, and alignment with FAES’s educational mission and goal to advance productivity and professional life at the National Institutes of Health.

FAES sponsors activities that promote networking and discourse at the NIH. As an independent organization, FAES is not restricted by federal regulations and can provide nimble event support including:

FAES Partnership Requests
FAES seeks partnerships that advance the organization’s mission to support biomedical science through training, educational programming, networking, and career development. A successful partnership event will benefit the biomedical community and promote FAES as a valued organization. Partnerships should include visible recognition of FAES and may also be used to promote FAES offerings. FAES allocates a modest annual budget for NIH Meetings and Event Support.
Information and Requirements
Application Period: June 1 - March 31
Online partnership request forms will be open for ten (10) months of the year, from June 1 to March 31. Requests outside of this time period may not be considered.
6-week Advance Request Required
Requests require a six-week minimum lead time for review.
FAES Requests and Requirements:
- Distribute or post/publish FAES flyers, posters, and table tents at events.
- Include the FAES logo and link to the website (or specific webpage) on event materials.
- Mention FAES (with links) in event communication.
- Provide splash sides or FAES presence at events.
- Add links to courses or workshops in event materials or post-event communications.
FAES does not offer the following:
- Do not provide a venue. All requests for event space must be directed to NIH Events Management.
- Do not prepare rooms or set up meetings.
- Do not provide Audio Visual (A/V) or Tech support for events and meetings.
- Do not provide linens, tables, floral arrangements, or décor of any type for events. NIH Events Management can provide tables, linens, and A/V needs.
- Do not provide service at events (Eurest can provide this at an additional cost outside of a typical event budget). NOT INCLUDED IN FAES PARTNERSHIP FUNDS.
