Academic Programs

FAES Fall 2026 Global Announcement

Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences, Inc. (FAES) is a nonprofit organization and our academic programs complement the NIH's mission by equipping scientists, clinicians, and professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to advance biomedical research and discovery.  We offer credit-bearing academic courses, non-credit workshops, and skills-based labs in areas that support research and the career development of members of the NIH community and beyond. Our educational programs are open to the public and we hope you continue taking our courses and workshops after you leave NIH.

FAES offers a variety of programming options including credit-bearing courses, live-online workshops, and in-person lab workshops in our FAES Learning Labs in subjects including bioinformatics, immunology, neurology, biochemistry, and more to further your science and career.
